Kimly Construction participates in Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) pilot for BIM Professionals

On 26 November 2018, Kimly Construction hosted and shared with Minister of State for National Development and Ministry of Manpower, Mr. Zaqy Mohamad, on how the company has transformed the work processes through the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Professional Conversion Programme (PCP).

Kimly has implemented BIM since 2010, and has grown from strength to strength by improving and expanding the company’s BIM capabilities and applications. During his visit, Mr. Zagy Mohamad had a hands-on experience in 3D modelling and Virtual Reality, providing him with an immersive experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC). Aside from this, Kimly has also demonstrated different applications of BIM during different respective stages of a construction project circle such as during tender stage, operation stage, post-construction stage.

In addition, Ms. Katheryn Seoh, who joined Kimly as a BIM Modeler under the PCP for BIM Professionals scheme, shared her thoughts on her career conversion from an Interior Designer to a BIM Modeler with Mr. Zaqy Mohamad. Kimly is an avid participant and supporter of the Workforce Singapore (WSG) and BCA’s PCP pilot for BIM Professionals. Kimly is pleased to have Ms. Seoh joining our company under the PCP.
